For over 35 years, the ballet and dance classes at the Marjorie Kovich School of Ballet in Norman, Oklahoma have been noted in the community for their quality and excellence in a joyful and positive learning atmosphere.
Students will be enriched in all areas of their lives by participating in our classical ballet and dance lessons and are provided skills that will help them excel in whatever pursuits they choose outside the dance studio.
Our school of ballet in Norman, Oklahoma is a home for students who love to dance for themselves, and want the mental benefits and physical exercise that ballet study brings to them.
Children’s Ballet and Dance Classes, for ages 3 and up, focus on the development of the entire child—physical, emotional, and social.
Look for our new "First Ballet Class with Melody Bear", a Melody Movement program for pre-school boys and girls, to premiere in the of Fall of 2008!
The Teen/Adult Beginning Ballet Class and Adult Ballet Classes serve both the teen and adult beginner as well as the dancer who has a background in ballet or dance training.
The Classical Jazz Class for Kids and the Ballet/Creative Movement Class for Children with Special Needs are the newest additions to the school’s curriculum.
Our students perform in The Oklahoma Nutcracker, with local opera companies, and in productions of the Norman Ballet Company.
Summer Ballet and Dance Classes for all ages, offered in June and July, include “Ballet Princess and Prince Workshop”), Young Dancers Workshops and the Summer Intensive Ballet Workshop. Summer classes in Teen/Adult Beginning Ballet and Advanced Adult Classes are also available.
