For 40 years, the ballet and dance classes at the Marjorie Kovich School of Ballet in Norman, Oklahoma have been noted in the community for their quality and excellence in a joyful and positive learning atmosphere. Our years of experience of working with ballet students of all ages have made our classical ballet school the dance studio chosen by parents and adult students who want the very best dance education for themselves and their children.
Our ballet studio in Norman, Oklahoma is a home for students who love to dance for their own enjoyment, and seek the mental benefits and physical exercise that ballet study provides them. Our curriculum provides the dance training necessary for those who want to pursue a career in ballet as well as other dance forms.
We realize that there are many dance studios to choose from in the Norman / Moore area. We continue to renovate our beautiful facility to make it more “family friendly” and we are constantly striving to make classes at our ballet school a positive experience for both students and parents. Our teachers share a passion and love for ballet that helps ensure each student’s success in learning life lessons through mastery in the ballet class.

Our 2013 summer dance classes for all ages are going to be the best ever! The Tiny Tutus (mommy & me) class, Fairy Magic, & Ballet Princess Workshops introduce young dancers (ages 2 – 7) to the wonderful world of ballet class, crafts and stories of the ballets. This summer the Ballet Princess Workshop spotlight will focus on three great ballets: Cinderella, Coppelia and The Firebird.
4 levels of Summer Intensive Ballet Workshops for students ages 8 and older, offer aspiring young dancers in the central Oklahoma area daily ballet and pre-pointe/pointe classes to broaden their dance vocabulary and technique. The Summer Enrichment Series consists of body strengthening & stretching class, seminars on relevant dance topics, discussions with guest teachers, great dance films, prop making and the annual summer art museum field trip. Students progress quickly in the challenging and enjoyable atmosphere with other young dancers!
Teens and Adult Basic Technique Ballet Classes are offered for those students with little or no experience as well as for older students with more dance experience who want to stay in shape and dance for enjoyment.
